What owners wrote
All hyundai limited model trims have poor bulb housings for their headlights. There is a notch in the housing that covers the top part of the bulb and casts a large shadow in front of the vehicle, making driving at night a serious safety problem. I've already contacted the dealer and was told it was a known problem and that hyundai has yet to do anything about it. I've attached two photos showing the shadow/notch on each headlight. Keep in mind my vehicle has only 295 miles, and I just bought it a couple days ago.
The contact owns a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that an independent mechanic had previously replaced the driver's and passenger's side rear brake light bulbs; however, the failure recurred with the passenger's side headlight burning out quickly. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the passenger's side headlight assembly needed to be replaced due to faulty wiring. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
