What owners wrote
While driving my 2019 Infiniti QX50, the engine suddenly lost significant power and entered failsafe (limp) mode due to a diagnosed VCR actuator fault (diagnostic codes P11A8-00 and P11AC-00). The sudden power loss caused a single-vehicle accident. No injuries. The vehicle had recall 25V437 service performed at Infiniti of White Plains on 08/27/2026. The check engine light was documented as ON during that visit.
When driving the car or when the car is not moving ex: waiting at an intersection the car has gone from the drive mode to neutral for no apparent reason..this has happened on 3 different occasions most recently on 3/2/19..I want to check to see if others with same vehicle are having the same problem. Went to pull out in oncoming traffic and was unable to do so because the car went into neutral without my knowledge..
