Reported at 60,000 miles, November 2002

2001 jeep cherokee limited: drivers seat bracket broke for no apparent reason, seat is now unstable/wobbly. Had this occurred while on the freeway it could have LED to a serious crash. While researching a fix for the problem I discovered that this is a common issue. Jeep should recall these vehicles and fix this serious safety problem. [link removed]
