What owners wrote

I was crossing a road to get to the median and my Jeep stopped moving in the middle of a 4 lane highway, separated by a median that I never made it to due to it stopping moving during acceleration. It made noise when I pressed on the gas pedal but didn’t go anywhere. I was hit by a car that couldn’t avoid me, and my daughter and I were injured in the crash. My daughter had a fracture in her right leg & facial bruising.

December 2024 CrashInjury

Vehicle randomly brakes unintentionally for 5 to 10 seconds - engine and steering fail all at the same time. A loud collision warning along with red alert braking indicators. I informed a local dealership several months after purchase (summer 2015). They reported no specific codes or recalls. The issue has occurred multiple times. In all occurrences the vehicle was in motion including highway and city streets. For incidents I directly recall they occurred while driving in a straight line (mostly).
