What owners wrote

They tried to blame a vacuum hose for letting gasoline fumes in the cabin of the 2008 jeep liberty to avoid a warranty fix. This is where the my health and safety complaint comes in. My wife has been complaining about being sick with headaches and stomach pain for months. Originally we took the jeep in for "gas cap" warning on the odometer and engine light. Nothing was found.

July 2009 Injury

Every time I go to fill my tank with gas there is a spill over. I have been to multiple different filling stations and get the same result every time. Gasoline always runs down the side of the car as the tank reaches fuel capacity. Gasoline spills out of the tank, down the side of the jeep, on to the ground, and even gets on my hands, clothes, and shoes. This is totally unacceptable! I have never had such an issue with something as simple as fueling a vehicle. I have owned this vehicle for less than 2 months.
