Reported at 55,000 miles, January 2016 Fire

This jeep liberty has a sky slider roof which opens like a convertible top. The top malfunctioned when trying to open it and we were unable to close it electronically with the control buttons. It remained partially open at the front and along the sides. This happened while using it in a straight line at around 55 MPH on a 2-lane highway in north dakota while on a trip about 250 miles from home.
