2007 Jeep Wrangler 2-DR 4X4 electrical system problems

I was leaving work on 3/15/07 and going down the interstate about 65 MPH in the rain when the engine shut off. I was doing nothing but driving when the engine just shut off the gauges went nuts. I drive a 2007 jeep wrangler and it has only 2000 miles on it. I could have been hurt or even killed by this event. Today on my way back to work the jeep was shaking badly lots of vibration at hiway speeds. Once again I just bought it back in december and now it shuts off and is one big vibrator going down the highway.

2007 jeep jk wrangler 6 speed 2080 miles on the odometer as I was travelling at approximately 40MPH, I lost all power to the vehicle for a split second. The radio turned off and all of the warning lights on the instrument panel lit up. The engine did not stop running, however, it was unresponsive. A second later, the lights went off, the radio came on and everything was fine. All of this at 40 MPH in 4th gear.
