Tl* the contact owned a 2014 kia sorento. The contact stated that the driver was traveling approximately 15 MPH when she became involved in a side impact crash with a dump truck that was traveling 40 MPH. The air bags failed to deploy and the driver was fatally injured. A police report was filed of the incident. The failure mileage was 10,000...updated 07-08-15 updated 08/24/2017

My airbag light has been going on/off for a few months now, and I have contacted several kia dealerships that have told me my car is not a part of an airbag recall, and if I want it fixed, I will have to come out of pocket to the time of about $2,000 to get this fixed. The dealerships I called, and 1 I went to in-person, told me that anything related to the airbag light is not under any type of warranty anymore, even though my car is only 5 years old.
