I had parked the car in a grocery store parking spot between two cars and had my foot on the brake. I was about to shut off the ignition when the car suddenly moved forward. Intuitively, I pressed harder on the brake, but the car speeded up, jumped over two parking barriers, travelled about 50 feet at high speed, hit the back of another car, a honda odyssey van with sufficient force that the honda itself jumped over a parking barrier and a curve and hit a pillar in a building's veranda.
As my wife was driving car, she received (4) - lights on dashboard about break and ABS system. She was driving on 610s in houston, texas. Then all of sudden she was feeling break was not working as should and receiving noise like turbine running. It was vacuum from break. We took car to clear lake lexus dealership for repair. They run computer and found code c1391/89 accumulator leak malfunction. Accumulator pressure sensor input does not increase before breaking or while the pump motor is operating.
