At approximately 2:00 pm on jan. 5, 2020, I was driving my 2006 lexus ls 430 in a residential area in bethesda, md. I decided to turn around. I turned right into a driveway (at a low speed) with the brake pedal applied. Suddenly, and without warning, the car accelerated wildly, making a great deal of engine noise, as the throttle appeared to be wide open. Thankfully I hit a near-by tree and two front air bags deployed.
