Recently purchased this vehicle, it’s got a different problem all the time usually electronics. The other day I was in a fender bender because I’m driving with the steering wheel 30-45 degrees to the right just so I can drive safe. Essence ford in Stuart FL where I purchased it, two different gentlemen thought it really bizarre but didn’t seem too concerned regarding my life at stake [XXX]
I had a faulty secondary hood safety latch. My hood came up and flew off while I was driving at 45 miles per hour. The safety latch did not catch like it should have. I have since had it repaired which cost about $8,000. The hood still comes unlatched and pops open.
This is a company car and I sometimes work from the back seat during my travel to clients as it's large and comfortable. I recently had occasion to meet with a client during inclement weather so we were in the rear of my car for about 30 minutes. After this time I could not release the door locks with the keyless remote, I am partially disabled and had to climb over the front seats to manually release the driver's door! I was trapped and my client was very upset. This is a major safety issue that is unacceptable.
