What owners wrote
Tl*the contact owns a 2007 lincoln mkz. While driving 30 MPH, the accelerator pedal became depressed when the contact was depressing the brake pedal. The failure has occurred on six occasions. The vehicle rolled over and crashed in a field. The weather was not a factor. The contact was cut out of the vehicle and sustained minor injuries. He was hospitalized for observation. There were no other vehicles involved. The vehicle was destroyed. The dealer did not diagnose the failure prior to the crash.
When the wheel speed sensor went bad the car went into limp mode as I was entering the road from a parking lot. I narrowly missed getting hit. Very dangerous situation.
