Dt: consumer's vehicle has a handle above the door of the back seat. Consumer's mother was holding onto handle when it broke loose. Consumer's mother is elderly and she sustained a bruise on her forehead, and pulled the muscles on her neck , back and shoulder blade. This was the first time anyone had set in the back seat. What ever held handle in the slot of the body broke. Consumer said it looked like handle was held in with clips.
I have a 2004 mazda 6 when I parked and tried to exit the car the driver door would not open. It seems the door lock had something wrong with it and the door will not open from the inside out outside! I tried to unlock the door with the power locks as well as manually. Even trying to muscle the lock open it did not work! This is a safety issue as if I had to exit the car quickly I would have to climb over the center console and exit through the passenger door.
