What owners wrote

New hid headlamps have very little light to see above a certain height depending on road terrain. As example when going downhill you cannot see the lanes in upcoming uphill grades. The lack of elimination in the area above the horizontal projection, prevents seeing road signs, lane changes, and pedestrians if you are traveling at a downhill angle on your approach.

February 2010

The original factory bulbs of the tail light / brake light on both the driver and passenger sides of my 2009 mazda 6 touring are melting the red plastic inside the lens and becoming deformed. This is causing visibility issues for vehicles behind me as the light is shining through as white instead of red. The exterior lens is not damaged, just the interior lens closest to the bulbs. I have contacted the dealer where I purchased my car and no recalls have been issued for this problem.
