What owners wrote
2001 mazda tribute. Consumer writes in regards to the vehicle subframe corrosion recall notice. *smd the consumer received a recall notice in early june. However, she had already paid for the repairs. So, she submitted a request for reimbursement, along with a synopsis of the trouble she experienced. The consumer received a letter of denial from mazda, stating the parts that were replaced or service completed, were not considered covered items under the subframe corrosion recall.
I have had the truck for 3 years and 113,000 miles highway miles, no off-roading. The front wheel bearings went out and were replaced under warranty at 43000 miles. The front wheel bearings are out again along with the stabilizer link and ti-rods. The wheels felt like they we about to fall off if you happened to hit a bump in the road. I just purchased a new set of tires a month ago and they are now possibly ruined due to the wheel bearing failure.
