Consumer stated 2005 e-500 mercedes-benz did not stop and jumped off curb and crashed. The vehicle jumped the curb and crashed into a glass door of a dentist office and side swiped another vehicle. Prior to this incident the consumer experienced irregular speed. The consumers foot was on the brakes the entire time. Mercedes found no problem. Refer to odi# 10115643.
Per incident was back glass detached from window and broke all over the road and on the back of my car while driving. 2: Sbcc pump goes in and out admittedly and type of a no brake issue at all hard as a rock will not move car only has 180,000 miles on it and it’s been doing that since 140,000 miles Which did cause me to get in a minor accident on the right side of the car the passenger side where now I’ve had to replace a fender and still have problems because of it
The fuel tank, pump and sender started leaking. Fuel had pooled on top of sender unit. This made my daughter in the back seat so ill we had to take her to urgent care. I called a dealer. Bought "improved seals for the sender and pump. The problem is not gone. Now the dealer is telling me it could be $1500-$2500 to replace the tank and sender/pump. It is unreal that a potentially lethal fuel leak is widely known about all the 2003-2008 e class mercedes and nothing is being done.
The sbc pump failed causing me to lose braking power while driving causing me coming close to having a rear end collision on the interstate
I took my car to the dealership because it was a red battery on the dash board, I was told I need a fuel pump, I told the dealership I have a warranty for this, but I was told the paper I have explain what a warranty is, I called mercedes headquarters several times and I was told I keep calling about the same thing its in the notes it is up to the service manager to approve the warranty I had to pay for the car repairs even tho I had a warranty.
