Tl* the contact owns a 2014 mercedes benz ml350. While driving 40 MPH, the engine stalled. The contact was able to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to a dealer who stated that the engine module pins were defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 6,138. Updated 7/23/15 the consumer requested to have the post removed.
Car engine light on. Took to service center. Required software upgrade. Cost $275. Car has 26k miles. This should not be an expense to buyer but should be a warranty issue. Very unhappy with mercedes-benz and unlikely to purchase you vehicle in the future. Also, no obvious instruction for checking oil level. Another ruse by mercedes-benz to wring additional $$ out if consumers.
