What owners wrote
Consumer was driving down road when a fire ignitied in engine. Consumer applied brakes , but they were inoperative. Had to pull emergency brake which caused loss of control ,vehicle spun around before it stopped. Consumer jumped out . Wiring and wheel covers, basically everthing was melted. The cause for the fire could not be found. However, the consumer firmly believes that something was not installed correctly at factory that caused the five month old vehicle to burn.
Matching recall mitsubishi notice sr-99-003 and NHTSA 99v305001, our galant has the busted turn signal problem. Mitsubishi claims our VIN is outside the range of defective units. Obviously, that's not the case, but they're not paying.
