Reported at 1,100 miles, August 2011

I was exiting the highway when a car abruptly pulled in front of me and I had step on the brakes with great force to stop in time without crashing. Immediately afterwards when I had to use the brakes again at a red light, I had to push down the brake pedal almost all the way down to the floor to stop the car. The brakes felt spongey and provided almost no resistance to my foot as I pressed down. The issue persisted for a few days before I took it to a local mechanic.
