Car without warning lost drive and forward speed on highway. The vehicle was a safety concern because it could have been rear ended from car behind. Car leaked transmission fluid ( hazard material on street ) . Replaced transmission and transfer case. Axle seal was damaged at time of assembly and lost all fluid at 1200 miles. Car had bucked 3 times before.

Tl*the contact owns a 2008 nissan rogue. While driving between 20-45 MPH, the contact heard a knocking sound coming from the vehicle. The dealer stated that the transmission needed to be replaced. There were no warning indicators prior to the failure. She is in the process of having the vehicle repaired. The failure and current mileages were 1,968.
