My daughter was involved in a car crash were someone made a left turn in front of her. Her new pontiac g5 hit the other car head on about 25-30 miles an hour. The airbag never deployed which allowed her head to hit the steering wheel. She had to be taken to the hospital were several test were taken. She is luck that she has only minor neck problems. The car had over $4500 in damage and needs new frame rails.
Service air bag message on display. Seat belt icon on dash stays on. Dealer is asking for $110.00 to diagnose the problem. State requires a yearly inspection, which cannot be performed due to dash icon. No action has been taken. Was mentioned in key switch recall, which was performed.
