Approaching a busy intersection, my pontiac g5's brakes failed to work. I could tell the hydraulics systems was working as I could hear metal on metal but it did nothing to slow down the vehicle. The vehicle's cdr showed the vehicle accelerating at full throttle although I know my foot was on the brake pedal as evidenced by the metal on metal sound. Plus a witness saw smoke coming from my vehicle. I was able to turn prior to going through the intersection and aimed for a fire hydrant to try to slow down.

A police report was not filed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired.
Hi! I noticed very strong gas fumes after filling my car with gas. I took the car to the dealer on friday, september 22, 2017 and had the fuel pump replaced, after filling my car with a tank of gas, I noticed strong fumes in the car. I noticed the fuel needle went from 401 miles to 388. I drove home parked my car in the garage moments later my daughter arrived home and began complaining about the strong gas fumes in the garage and gas leaking underneath my car.
