What owners wrote

Water leaked into floorboard from air-conditioner. Grinding noise coming from the front and back wheels. Trim came loose from back bumper. Rearview mirror fell off. Had numerous times where the car would crank but not start (dealership could not duplicate problem) front driver window would not come down on occasion. Car caught fire under the dashboard while parked in our garage. The fire did extensive damage to the interior of the car.

Reported at 34,000 miles, December 2003 Fire

While under warrenty, rear struts were replaced. 6 months later, suspension noise was heard again, however now from the front end. At approximately 41,000 miles (nov 2003) pontiac dealer stated that the noise was "normal" for this car and the struts however there was no safety issue or mechanical damage. Seems to me that if there was no mechanical damage to the strut, then the frontend suspension should not sound like a baby's rattle.
