What owners wrote

While driving down the road, when the road curved, I attempted to tun the steering wheel, I got no response from the wheels. I went off the road and in to the ditch. Once in the ditch, I turned the steering wheel to see if the wheels would turn, the wheels would not turn. Looking under the front of the truck the steering drag ink had broke at the adjusting sleeve. Looking at the drag link it has broken in half for no reason, and one of the jam nuts is loose.

Reported at 77,000 miles, September 2017 Crash

Driving on idaho highway 21, speed limit is 45 with slower speeds required around corners due to the windy road. I was traveling south at approx mile post 26 about to enter a sharp right hand corner and suddenly the steering wheel was completely loose and rotated without making any changes in the truck direction. Once a realized I could not turn I quickly slammed on the brakes and came to a stop on the opposite shoulder. I basically crossed the oncoming traffic lane and stopped just before exiting the roadway.
