Suzuki boulevard 2007, m109r. Shifting gears becomes very difficult over time and then as it increases the gears then pop out of drive and lose the ability to engage . When driving on the highway it's especially dangerous to lose that function as I found , I was rear ended. This trying to place back in gear damages the clutch and universal and main drive gear.

2007 suzuki m109r (vzr1800) le after shifting into 2nd gear, and accelerating, the motorcycle seems to be missing the gear or slipping the gear. This causes the motorcycle to shake violently and cause the rider to almost lose control. After doing research, this seems to be a known issue with these bikes for having faulty shift forks. Suzuki needs to step up and fix this issue as this can be extremely dangerous.
