While turning the vehicle the power strerring became unstable (hard to turn - then lose) causing the SUV to hit a pole, damaging the corner right bumber.

Reported at 14,450 miles, June 2005 Crash

Since vehicle was 5yrs old the frame has rusted terribly. The rust is so significant there are holes and pieces of it have just fallen off. Currently, the steering joint is so rusted that it cannot be driven safely because it feels like it may lose control on the road. Entire undercarriage appears so badly rusted that I am not sure this vehicle is safe to drive anymore.

Reported at 131,000 miles, August 2018
