What owners wrote

Struck from rear by another driver at high rate of speed; was thrown forward into driver side interior door panel and driver's head struck the convertible top metal top-folding structure. Believe the seat belt tensioner device failed to function properly and the air bag failed to deploy, as well. The convertible top for this model was in the up position at impact. The air bags did not deploy and the seat belt caused both the driver and passenger to lurch forward, causing serious bodily damage to both parties.

Reported at 66,000 miles, February 2013 CrashInjury

I am the first owner of the toyota which now has 46,000 miles, and always been garaged. The problem is the dashboard which has many cracks in it and the dashboard is melting and sticky. This started about 2 years ago and is continuing to get worse with more deterioration. The safety issue problem is the dashboard is very shiny and makes it difficult to see when driving on a sunny day.
