What owners wrote
My car stopped for a red light and I was first in line to proceed onto highway #290. I went up the ramp and my car took off on its own and I could not brake or steer my car. Car crashed into a tree and stopped. My airbag deployed. I was hurt facially and I unstrapped my seat belt and got out of the car and sat on the ground waiting for help. Car behind me stopped to help and called 911 for ambulance and police using my cell phone. My car was considered a total loss by my insurer.
Dt: the contact changed the disc brakes shoe pads because his wife was complained that brakes failed, and there was extended stopping distance. Afterwards , the contact parked in a parking stall at home. Then the contact just pulled out of the way, and with hand still on the shift indicator there was sudden acceleration with the vehicle in reverse. The contact claimed he did not place the vehicle in reverse. This caused the vehicle to accelerate backwards into a brick wall. There was extensive damage to the car.
