Reported at 49,000 miles, January 2011 CrashInjury

I was driving along at about 40MPH when all of a sudden there was no power going to the wheels. The engine was running but no power was going to the wheels. Luckily, I was on a city street and I was able to coast around a corner. I put the car in park and caught my breath, and then when I put it in gear it ran okay. The next day, the same thing happened again--loss of power--coasting to a stop. I double checked and the car was in fact in drive--but no power to the wheels.
