What owners wrote

I was driving my 2007 toyota camry when sparks flew from under the drivers side front seat, then came a popping sound. This happened again, but this time a flame came after the sparks. I was driving around 55 MPH whenever this happened, and I was on a very busy freeway during rush hour (5:30 p.m.) traffic. I was able to pull off to the shoulder, but by then the fire was spreading across the drivers seat. I was able to stop by using the tip of my toes to apply the brakes.

The tachometer, speedometer, and odometer work sporadically, mostly they are non functional. All warning lights are on when the speedometer is not working. The gas and temperature gauge work most of the time. The air condition fan works normally but the air condition blows cold air only when the speedometer is working.
