Vehicle 2023 Toyota Crown XLE Hybrid - 02/27/2024 - My vehicle was at a complete stop and was hit on the driver's side of the vehicle by a fully loaded dump truck traveling at 55 mph. The impact was so hard that my head hit the window. State Farm did their investigation and totaled the vehicle (less than 6 months old and approximately 6000 miles). Not one air bag deployed with that hard of an impact - not one!
On September 16, 2024 at approximately 13:20 my mother was driving her 2023 Toyota Crown in the parking lot of the post office and she was slowing down to park in a parking spot when all of a sudden the vehicle lunged, surges, jerks ,speeds forward all on the cars own with no physical driver commands . The car races forward all on its own while she is slowly pulling into a parking spot jumps the curb and crashes into a brick wall. The CVT ( Continuous Variable Transmission ) Is the problem and quite sure.
