What owners wrote

Catalytic converter emits strong sulfur odor into passenger compartment. The smell made my family sick with headaches. Toyota reps told me to note what gas station I go to and it may take multiple visits to fix since no one else reported similar problems.

Reported at 4,000 miles, February 2008 Injury

The oil pump assembly failed. It was partially made with a rubber hose that did not perform as it should. It needed to be replaced with a solid metal part. Although there was a safety/service bulletin listed by toyota on this part it cost almost $1200 to repair.
