Side impact collision by chevy pickup on a city street. Vehicle was moving straight after stopping at a stop sign. Driver side completely damaged, but no airbag deployed, not even a single one.
My vehicle's safety restraint ( airbag) light on the dash came on and I took it to the dealer for analysis. They told me the entire restraint system would have to be rewired at a cost of $4000.00. Without it, I have no airbags. This should be a recall item, not the responsibility of the car owner.
