Reported at 5,500 miles, December 2021 Fire

I have a 2017 toyota tacoma with 53000 miles on it. The squirrel cage on the AC blower motor broke today during a 100 degree day. From what I can see on line there is a back order on the replacement part. The plastic female port for the shaft cracked in half and not the cage makes a horrendous noise. Poor design: metal shaft spinning inside plastic is a recipe for a stress crack which is what this appears to be. My truck is out of warranty so now I am stuck paying for the repair!!
