2014 Cadillac XTS electrical system problems

At 5:15am, 5/29/14, my xts while parked in my residence driveway spontaneously caught fire. The fire emanated from the engine compartment and destroyed the entire front 1/2 of the vehicle. North farmingdale fd responded and extinguished the fire. No injuries were caused. The nassau county pd and nassau fire marshalls office also responded and after a visual and photo examination determined that the fire started in the area of the brake booster pump.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 cadillac xts. The contact stated that the cue touch screen was unresponsive. Due to the failure, the contact was unable to perform basic electrical functions while driving the vehicle. The contact spoke to flow cadillac (1400 s stratford rd suite b, winston-salem, nc 27103) where an estimate for the repair was provided. The manufacturer was not contacted or notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
