The chrome on the interior front door handles is cracking and has caused minor razor like cuts. The problem is identical to oid id no10429541. The local chevrolet dealer immediately recognized the problem, but indicated the TSB only applied to model year 2007. I believe this should be expanded to cover all affected years and models. 2008 chevrolet avalanche. The problem is the heated washer fluid system(recall10153) was recall and fix one time now it's been recall again and GM just wants to disable the feature and give the customers 100 dollars.the initial recall ((08048) was done on nov 4 2008 and the mileage was 6,544. This is something that will depreciate the vehicle value, and GM is not assuming the responsibility to redesign the part and fixing it the problem the proper way.
