While driving at 35 MPH on a bridge the catalytic converter caught on fire, and the consumer had to pull over once she saw smoking coming from the vehicle. Consumer poured baby milk on the small fire, and was able to put the fire out.
Original owner of 95 camaro 350 engine that did regular mobil 1 oil changes and has 97000 miles. Had to replace damaged-worn camshaft and lifters. I have heard that this is a problem that GM is having with other cars also. I had a problem back in the 70's when GM had a recall on soft cam shafts and this looks like the same problem that I just had fixed on this 1995.
