What owners wrote
Tl* the contact owns a 2004 chevrolet colorado. The contact stated that the brake light switch was replaced numerous times for a recurring failure. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign id number: 09v310000 (exterior lighting: brake lights: switch). The dealer replaced the switch under the recall but every 20,000 miles, the switch would fail again. The AC resistor wires were melted, causing the air conditioner to only operate on low. The dealer replaced the wiring harness and the resistor but the failure recurred.
Intermittent non working power door locks wipers headlights and windows! There are hundreds of these incidents posted online. There looks to be thousands of dollars in repairs with no solution!
