What owners wrote

Less than a week after I purchased the 2004 GM colorado pickup truck the tailgate open on the expressway and the cabinet I was hauling fell off the truck into the road causing an accident. I was sure the door was shut securely but somehow it just opened up.

Reported at 200 miles, February 2004 Crash

In 2016, I purchased a used 2004 chevy colorado. This year (2017) my daughter noticed excessive rust on the underside of the vehicle. Upon the next oil change, we were told that the frame was completely rotted and cracked in several places. We were then referred to a welding company, who said that it could be repaired for $4,000. We got a second opinion, who said that this repair was not worth it. We were then referred to a place that would completely replace the frame, but are waiting on a price.
