I own a 2006 chevy colorado extended cab. The wiring harness that controls the air bags, interior lights, and stereo speakers keeps breaking. I was told that it was a defect from the factory. The wires run between the cab and rear doors. I had it fixed under warranty in 2008 and again in 2009. My warranty expired right after the second fix. I have had to fix it myself twice since then. This is a safety issue since the air bags are inoperable when the wires break.
