What owners wrote

On my 2006 chevrolet colorado, the evaporation solenoid (assembly), which is mounted on the right end of the evaporation canister, is only secured on one end. There is loose play in the mount. The evaporation solenoid can move up and down, every time you hit a rough place in the road. I checked several other new 2006 colorados and one new 2007 colorado. They were all loose. The 2007 was the worse one. The solenoid is connected to the canister with plastic tubing.

The passlock system has become more of an issue with this vehicle. The vehicle will not start almost two to three times a week. Not only does this come at the most un-opportune time after 10 minutes or more to wait for the system to reset. After reading this post, I see that I am not the only one with this problem. I have had to wait up to 30 minutes sometimes to get the truck started again. His has become more of a problem.so far there has not been a dangerous situation where this problem has happened.
