What owners wrote
We have been driving the new GM Chevy 2024 Equinox EV for a few days (only 74 miles so far) and it has been great but wanted to report a safety concern with the design of the front dash board and curvature/angle of the windshield. It is as follows. When driving into the sun on a bright sunny day there is a bad reflection from the rippled dashboard back on to the interior windshield. This makes it more difficult to see the road ahead.
The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV. The contact stated that the front driver's side windshield wiper travel was reduced, reducing the visibility of the roadway while driving in the rain. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving under the sun, the dashboard reflection on the windshield was significant, severely reducing the visibility of the roadway. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but no assistance was provided. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired.
