What owners wrote

I have had continuous problems with brake lights and turn signal lights going out.. Over the last couple of weeks my headlights have been getting stuck in the bright position, now yesterday on my drive home smoke started coming from between my steering wheel and the dash; during this the blue bright light indicator was flashing. I pulled over and exited the car. The smoke dissipated very quickly and continued the short distance home with no more problems...

April 2011 Fire

Our 2007 chevy equinox had condensation in the headlights, which they were replaced when we bought the vehicle from the dealership may 20, 2014. In october 2015, condensation began building up again in the driver's side lens. We replaced a bulb in november and in february, ended up replacing the entire component due to condensation gathering in the headlight, to the cost of over $400! This is obviously a design flaw for this vehicle.

Reported at 75,000 miles, March 2016
