What owners wrote

Takata recall I was involved in a car wreck on a city street. My car was totaled and not even one airbag deployed. It was a front end collision. I was traveling east about 20-25 miles per hour and s vehicle ran a stop sign going excessively fast. I hit the passenger side of her vehicle. My vehicle spun around 90 degrees and ended up in a ditch hitting a stop sign on drivers side door. Front of my equinox was totaled.

Vehicle has 111,000 miles on it and consumes 3 quarts of oil between 5,000 mile oil change intervals. We have always had the oil changed when it is due. Another issue is that when I take the oil fill cap off, there is a white milky residue (which indicates that there is moisture in the engine) now, I know that these 2.4 liter ecotech engines are notorious for pcv issues. Besides the pc issue, the other issue that worries me is that the piston/rings could also be burnt up.
