The front camera collision, lane departure, blind spot warning system are all part of an electronic system that warns the driver. In 2014, chevrolet located these modules in the rear bumper and did not sufficiently protect them from the weather elements, so water gets into them and can cause a fire, and failures from losing your dash gauges to the vehicle not starting. Chevy was nice enough to issue a service action, but limited to a 6 month time frame for repairs.
