What owners wrote

I was driving monte carlo ss 2000 the other day and smoke started coming out of the steering wheel. I inhaled a mouthful, the throat burned all day. Almost in an accident. The windshield wipers started running and would not shut off, so I removed the fuse. I noticed my headlights no longer worked also. When I got home I opened the dashboard and steering wheel cover , and the burnt smell was coming from the turn signal switch. I opened the switch, and everything inside was melted.

My turn sigmal flasher doesn't work sometimes. I think it happens more often when the humidity is high. I can sometimes correct it by depressing the emergency flasher button. This is dangerous!!!
