What owners wrote
A few complaints as filed, shortened and with personal details removed. The first ones are among the most serious reports for this model year; the rest are typical.
When driving at about 50 mph on a highway, there was a loud noise from the rear of the vehicle (something breaking) and the vehicle immediately veered into the oncoming lane (thankfully there was no traffic coming towards us, it is typically a busy road). While braking, I was able to steer it back towards the right, but soon after lost complete control of the vehicle and could not steer. The traverse went into a ditch and rolled with myself and two young passengers. Two vehicles that were behind us stopped to aid.
My wife and I were t-boned in the front end of our 2019 Chevy Traverse. I am familiar with how airbags operate and the force necessary to activate the trigger switch. At the force we were hit, the airbags should have deployed. None of the airbags worked. The car that hit us was totaled. Their front end was completely demolished to the firewall and all airbags were deployed. Our car had $11,000 plus worth of front /side damage.
Cruising at freeway speed, press down on the gas pettal and trans up shifts and goes to a lower gear and jerks so hard it fills like you have hit from the rear. It did this 5 times.
Tl* the contact owns a 2019 chevrolet traverse. The contact stated that while stopped at a traffic light, the accelerator pedal was depressed however, the vehicle was slow to respond. The contact became aware that the accelerator pedal was detached from the floorboard. The contact slowly drove into a service station and had the vehicle towed to her residence. The contact was advised to schedule an appointment to have the vehicle diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired.
