Tl* the contact owns a 2017 chrysler pacifica. The contact stated that the plastic covering on the door latch was too thick. As a result, the latch would tighten when an object touched the lock, even as the door was locked. The contact stated that a child's finger was crushed when the child touched the plastic while the door was locked. It was unknown if medical attention was received. There was no warning prior to the failure.
I was stopped at a stop sign, and when I tried accelerating the vehicle wouldn't move, it has just shut off, when I tried turning it back on, after putting it in park it wouldn't turn on. Luckily someone helped me push it out the way, and after waiting 10 minutes, the vehicle just started back up normally.
