What owners wrote

As of sunday (7/20/08), I was driving and my engine cut off (no warning), power steering & breaks locked up....I lost control of my car. After my car came to a stop I attempted to re-start and it failed. I then placed the car in park, took the key out of the ignition, put it back in and the car cranked up. I drove it to the dealership monday (7/21/08) morning and got it back later the same day with zero help. They said nothing came up when they hooked it up to the computers.

Just like everyone else's complaint on the 2008 sebring. The electronic throttle control light comes on. The cars rpms rev high but the car won't even be going fast. The car will speed up on its own and jump while sitting at a red light. Then once the light comes on and you cut the car off if you try to crank it back up it went cut on. This is ridiculous. I've almost wrecked quite a few times. Nobody knows what's wrong and when you take it to the dealership they don't know either and they are all rude.
