What owners wrote

We have had numerous intermittent electrical problems(tachometer quits, window wont roll up,heated seat quit working, rear window wiper quit)then on 9-13-02 the transmission failed twice within a few minutes time, the second time resulted in a car accident with injuries.

September 2002 CrashInjury

2001 chrysler town & country purchase 4.5 yrs ago. One year into purchase, ABS lights on, extended warranty replaced ABS system. Lights kept coming on, took in 2-3 times, said they couldn't fix, didn't know why. Later, window wouldn't roll up/down on passenger side, radio quit working. Took to a shop & was told that at some point, the battery leaked (before I purchased) and the entire wiring harness was eaten by the acid/ this was covered up at some point because the wires had been wrapped in electrical tape.

Reported at 60,000 miles, April 2007
